The Hoodie Project

GLBC is proud to announce a charity collaboration project for Fall/Winter 2014. The Hoodie Project is a simple yet highly effective concept. For every hoodie we sell, we donate one to New Alternatives, an organization that provides support for LGBT homeless youth. Upon contacting the organization with a proposal for this project, they humbly informed me that one of the greatest challenges is making sure these young people have warm, durable clothing that will last through the harsh winter months. The zip-up hooded sweatshirts we are selling and donating are made of a soft yet heavy 10 oz cotton/poly blend, sturdy nickel zippers and thick wrist cuffs and waistbands to keep out that frosty breeze! Naturally, all our garments come equipped with original designs of the latest and greatest art we have to offer. For this project, our hoodies will be featuring the works of contributing artist Lena Richardson in collaboration with myself. The Hoodie Project will kick-off on Friday August 29th, 2014 and run all throughout winter. The promotion applies to all of the sweatshirts available on our online store. Open up your hearts people! And help us provide some comfort for those who find it more difficult to come by. SHOP NOW AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
